Family fight in five seats in Madhya Pradesh’s 2023 Kurukshetra

The upcoming 2023 assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh are being compared to the "Mahabharat" as they involve family members competing against each other in five constituencies. In Hoshangabad, two brothers, Sitasharan Sharma and Girija Shankar Sharma, are facing off. In Deotalab, Speaker Girish Gautam is challenged by his nephew, Padmesh Gautam. In Sagar, Shailendra Jain and his brother's wife, Nidhi Jain, are competing. In Dabra, "samdhi" Suresh Raje and "samdhan" Imarti Devi will face each other for the third time. Lastly, the Timarni seat will witness a contest between nephew Abhijit Shah and uncle Sanjay Shah.
