SGPC opposes auction of model of Golden Temple

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has expressed opposition to the government's decision to auction a model of the Golden Temple. They have urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to preserve the model in his house rather than auctioning it. The SGPC president has stated that the model is not just an ordinary gift but a symbol of devotion and respect. The auction, which includes various other items, is set to conclude on October 31, 2023.
