Lecturer dies nine months after assault by student

A 36-year-old English lecturer died during treatment at Vimsar, Burla, on Wednesday, nine months after allegedly being thrashed by a 24-year-old student of Pradosh Kumar Smruti Smaraki (PKSS) Degree College, H Kantapali, in Odisha's Jharsuguda district, when he refused to let the accused enter the classroom for coming late.
