IAF officer's wife dies in freak accident on Yamuna e-way

A woman died and three others were seriously injured in a road accident on the Yamuna expressway in Mathura district. The wife of an Indian Air Force officer was thrown from the expressway and died on the spot, while her children escaped with minor injuries. The accident occurred when a speeding car collided with their vehicle from behind. The injured passengers were rushed to the hospital for treatment. The Yamuna expressway has seen a total of 7,256 accidents, resulting in 1,242 deaths and 10,520 injuries, over the past 12 years.
