Bank employee in UP's Aligarh forced to transfer Rs 98,000, beaten to death later

A 24-year-old bank employee in Aligarh was beaten to death by robbers who forced him to make an online transfer of Rs 98,000. The victim's body was found near the Pilibhit-Madhotanda road. Seven people have been arrested in connection with the crime. The accused admitted to beating the victim to death with sticks and bricks after forcing him to transfer the money. They accosted the victim when he was walking alone and snatched his bag before demanding the transfer. The accused have been charged with murder and conspiracy.
