MNF fires Hindutva salvo at BJP, saffron party vows to fight 'graft' of ruling party
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Mizo National Front (MNF) are engaging in attacks against each other ahead of the Mizoram assembly elections. BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda announced the formation of a special investigation team (SIT) to probe the misappropriation of funds in the state government's flagship program. He also promised a "white paper" to expose the present government's financial mismanagement. In response, the MNF accused the BJP of attempting to impose Hindutva and betraying the interests of the Mizo people. The MNF emphasized their commitment to preserving the culture, tradition, and religion of Mizoram.
