Kerala IED blast suspect's mother-in-law was at event
Monday, 30 October 2023 Dominic Martin, who surrendered and confessed to causing the explosion in Kalamassery, Kerala, was formally arrested by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) after 24 hours. He provided self-incriminating evidence, including a video of himself detonating the IED and bills for materials used. Martin even requested to be produced in court to admit his guilt. Interestingly, his mother-in-law attended the event, and he attempted to contact his wife to prevent her from attending, but received no response.
In the latest developments on the shocking Bengaluru’s Rameshwaram Cafe explosion incident, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah addressed the media in Mysuru, confirming that the blast occurred when a customer's bag exploded, injuring at least nine people.
