Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (Tasmac) in India is set to introduce premium brands of beer, including Bira, Geist, Godfather, and Thunderbolt, in all its outlets. Previously, Tasmac only allowed beer brands with breweries in the state to be sold. However, the corporation will now purchase beer from other states to provide more variety. Additionally, Tasmac plans to offer fresh beer with lower alcohol content and is in talks with suppliers to make this available before the summer.
