Uttarakhand lost 18 tigers this year, max deaths in 5 years

A carcass of a sub-adult tigress was found by a patrol team in Bijrani zone of Corbett Tiger Reserve (CTR) on Saturday evening, taking the number of tiger deaths in Uttarakhand to 18 this year, according to National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) data. The toll in five years.
