‘Health is foremost’: HC grants N Chandrababu Naidu bail in skill development case

Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N Chandrababu Naidu, has been granted interim bail on medical grounds in an alleged skill development scam case. The high court ruled that Naidu can seek treatment at a hospital of his choice but must surrender to jail authorities after four weeks. The bail is conditional and prohibits Naidu from influencing witnesses. Naidu was arrested on September 9 and had previously had his bail application rejected. The TDP party has hailed the decision as a victory over the ruling YSRCP party.
