Maharashtra ministers meet quota activist Jarange to inform about extension of Shinde committee's scope

Maharashtra ministers Sandipan Bhumre and Atul Save met with Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange and provided him with a document that expands the scope of the Shinde Committee. The committee was formed to study the feasibility of granting Kunbi certificates to Marathas so they can receive reservation under the Other Backward Classes category. Bhumre stated that the committee's scope has been extended to cover all of Maharashtra. Jarange expressed his satisfaction with the decision and mentioned that the hunger strikes for reservation will continue until their demands are met.
