Delhi Airport mulling 'airside transfer of baggage between T1 & T3/2 for transiting flyers on same airline'

IndiaTimes Tuesday, 7 November 2023
Transit passengers may soon not have to lug their check-in bags between the distant Terminal 3/2 and T1 of Delhi Airport if their connecting flight is either on the same airline or is a code share one. Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) is looking at interim measures, including airside baggage transfers, to make make the transfers by road on DTC buses between T3/2 and T1 slightly less painful till IGIA finally gets the much-needed and hugely-delayed air train.
