Noida cop in uniform appears in a music video, faces inquiry
Thursday, 9 November 2023 A senior police officer in Noida, India is facing a departmental inquiry after appearing in a music video while wearing his official uniform. The video, which has been circulating on social media, shows the officer working at his desk and then interacting with actors in fake police uniforms. The police commissioner has ordered an investigation into the officer's breach of professional conduct, stating that officers are not allowed to appear in such videos without permission. The officer has been sent to Police Lines and his statement will be recorded during the inquiry.
