Give poll bond donor info by tomorrow, Election Commission tells political parties

The Election Commission has asked political parties to provide details of contributions received through electoral bonds, including donors' names and bank credit information. Parties have been instructed to submit this information in a double-sealed envelope marked as 'Confidential - Electoral Bond' by November 15. The Supreme Court had directed the EC to provide data on funds received through electoral bonds until September 30 in a sealed cover. Political parties do not currently disclose donor names or contribution amounts in their annual audit reports.
