After year in jail for daughter's 'rape', Uttarakhand court finds man innocent
Sunday, 19 November 2023 A man in Haridwar has been acquitted by a special Pocso court after spending a year and a half in jail for allegedly raping his daughter. The court found that the man had been falsely implicated by his wife and that the daughter was also involved in the conspiracy. It was discovered that the wife had registered a false case due to a property dispute, and the girl's medical report showed no signs of sexual assault. The court ordered the immediate release of the man.
