In dry Bihar, ‘hooch’ kills 5 in 24 hours

Yet another suspected hooch tragedy surfaced when five people were killed in three neighbouring hamlets in the Sitamarhi district of dry state Bihar. Earlier, on Friday, three people died, while two passed away on Saturday morning. Another man, who had consumed spurious liquor on Thursday night along with the five who have died, is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Sitamarhi town, the villagers said.
