IndiaTimes Thursday, 23 November 2023
14 child innovators showcased 'smart solutions' for an inclusive world, including a sensor-laden helmet to curb helmet-less driving, gloves that send audio commands for disabled people, a 'hope arm' for para-athletes, a 'smart shoe' for the visually impaired, a 'step and sow shoe' for automatic seed dispensing, a real-time sign language translator, and a tech-enabled scarecrow. The exhibition was organized by Unicef and IGNCA to mark 'World Children's Day'. The students developed these innovative solutions with the guidance of their instructors at school.
