Mumbai airport carries out full scale aircraft emergency preparedness drill

Mumbai airport conducted a Full Scale Aircraft Emergency Exercise (FSAEE) to test emergency preparedness. The exercise, code named Black Panther, used a mock-up aircraft that caught fire. Multiple stakeholders participated, including MIAL, Airlines, Air Traffic Control, CISF, and more. The drill aimed to evaluate preparedness while maintaining operational continuity. International regulations require airports to conduct a full-scale aircraft emergency exercise every two years.
