'Bihar CM Nitish Kumar is most credible OBC face in politics'

JD(U) leader Sanjay Kumar Jha defends CM Nitish Kumar as the most credible OBC face in politics, refuting recent demands by BJP leaders that Nitish should retire. Jha highlights Nitish's contributions, including introducing reservation for EBCs and women in local bodies, enhancing the OBC quota to 65%, and demanding protection for a newly enacted law. He dismisses the idea of Nitish being past his prime and denies that JD(U) would become the B Team of RJD. Jha emphasizes Nitish's resiliency in bouncing back and becoming an agenda setter in politics. The assertion of Nitish confidant may be significant in view of Congress's bid to muscle in on the OBC turf by suddenly embracing the demand for a caste count and "jitni abaadi utna haq slogan".
