DJB Draws Up List Of Over 100 Defaulters That Owe It Rs 2,800 crore

Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has identified 130 top defaulters in bill payments, amounting to Rs 2,800 crore. DJB will take action against these defaulters within a week due to its financial strain. The defaulters include government bodies, hospitals, JJ clusters, government residential colonies, Delhi University, Hindu Rao Hospital, Maulana Azad Medical College, police stations, Delhi airport, Northern Railway, and houses in JJ cluster of Holambi Kalan. DJB is responsible for treating raw water and distributing potable water in Delhi, and it is struggling to function smoothly without adequate funds.
