CBI raids Trinamool Congress netas, finds Rs 30 lakh+ at MLA's home in Murshidabad

CBI searches residences of Trinamool Congress functionaries in connection with the school recruitment scam. Huge cash seized from Domkal MLA Jafikul Islam's house. Cash seizure worth over Rs 30 lakh. Islam claims money is proceeds of recent land and property sale. Separate CBI teams also search residences of Kolkata Municipal Corporation chief whip Bappaditya Dasgupta and Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation mayor-in-council member Debraj Chakraborty. Dasgupta questioned for over five hours. Chakraborty's residence searched in his absence. CBI officers ask for income-tax returns and property details. Searches seen as a political ploy.
