IndiaTimes Sunday, 10 December 2023
Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange warns that the government will "regret it" if it doesn't comply with the December 24 deadline for granting reservation to the Maratha community. Jarange accuses deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis of changing his stance on the September 1 lathicharge on protesters without explaining who influenced him. Meanwhile, Maharashtra cabinet minister Chhagan Bhujbal criticizes the government for its handling of the Maratha-OBC conflict and the recent attacks on politicians' residences. The Maratha reservation issue will be discussed in the legislature on Tuesday.
