SDM accused of torturing man for case against UP sand mafia

A resident of Musran in Hathras alleges brutal beatings by Hathras SDM and tehsildar after filing complaint against illegal sand mining during Janata Darshan programme. Nakul Chaudhry, 22, posts video on social media showing injury marks following alleged beating by SDM Ravendra Kumar. Hathras DM Archana Verma announces investigation. Hathras SP Nipun Agrawal confirms receipt of complaint and assures swift action. Nakul recounts incident, being forcibly taken to isolated location in SDM's car, tied to pillar, and thrashed by Kumar and tehsildar Chandrapal Singh.
