Parliament security breach: Visitor passes issued at BJP MP Simmha's behest
Mysuru BJP MP Pratap Simmha's office authorized visitors' passes recovered from the duo involved in the Parliament security breach. One of the youths, Manoranjan D, who hailed from Simmha's constituency, had been pursuing the MP's office for a Parliament pass. He introduced co-accused Sagar Sharma as a friend. Simmha issued three passes, but one had to be returned as it was for a woman who arrived with her child, not connected to the accused. The security breach might impact Simmha's chances in the 2024 elections.
