Cabinet nod to relief, but flat registries unlikely to start immediately in Noida

The state cabinet approved the recommendations of the Amitabh Kant committee to revive stalled real estate projects. However, the implementation will be done through the formulation of a policy. The resumption of registries in Noida will have to wait until the policy is in place. The authorities are awaiting further instructions from the government on how to proceed with the rollout of relief measures for realtors and homebuyers. The deadlock between realtors and the development authorities over land dues has prevented the registration of around 1.1 lakh flats.
