Schoolgirl, 16, gang-raped by 7 in MP, two minors among 5 held

A 16-year-old schoolgirl was gang-raped by seven youths - including two minors - in a forest in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday. Police have nabbed five of the seven accused. According to sources, the schoolgirl had gone out for a stroll to Majhaghatiya area, on the outskirts of Shahgarh town, on Tuesday evening. She was accompanied by another girl and two boys. In a deserted area, they were accosted by seven men, who began following the group of schoolgoers, making obscene remarks and taking videos. It escalated quickly into sexual violence.
