Man gets 20-years RI for sexually abusing minor daughter

A first-track court for Pocso cases recently sentenced a 44-year-old man from Rajajinagar in Bengaluru to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment for sexually abusing his minor daughter. Public prosecutor P Krishnaveni said the court also slapped a penalty of Rs 2.5 lakh on the convict. Based on the mother's complaint, the man was arrested and sent to judicial custody at Bengaluru Central Prison. He was later released on bail. When the judgment was pronounced, he was present in the court and was immediately shifted to prison again
