No JN.1 variant detected in 30 Covid samples sent for genome sequencing. Bengal records highest single-day spike in Covid cases. Six patients admitted to hospitals with comorbidities. One patient in Fortis Hospital Anandapur stable, with COPD, hypertension, and lower respiratory tract infection. Three patients in AMRI Dhakuria, requiring intensive care, with hypoglycaemia, gastrointestinal problems, bronchial issues, and acute kidney injury.
