Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh continued to face the challenge of high unemployment rates among the educated youth. The lack of job opportunities aligned with ambitions and qualifications has led many young individuals to seek opportunities abroad. This has resulted in cases against illegal travel agents who deceive people by promising work visas to countries like the USA and Canada. Additionally, the Periodic Labour Force Survey revealed that the unemployment rate in these states is significantly higher than the national average.
