P K Mishra: Need effective public policy to make India developed nation

PK Mishra, principal secretary to PM Narendra Modi, stated that India is at an inflection point due to government initiatives. India's growth story is at a structurally higher path, but there are challenges both domestic and international. Mishra emphasized the need for transparent, accountable, and effective public policy to make India a developed nation by 2047. He called for continuous innovation and reinvention to remain competitive. Researchers were urged to help policymakers assess citizens' needs, evaluate interventions, and design responsive, inclusive, and sustainable policies.
