Bomb extortion gone awry: Rowdies injure selves in Puducherry; one arrested

Two rowdies attempted to extort money from an industrialist by threatening him with a country bomb in Puducherry. The bomb accidentally fell near them, causing severe injuries to all three. One of the rowdies, Sugan alias Pradeep, was arrested, while the other accused, Sarath, remains at large. Sugan had been pressuring the industrialist to secure a contract and pay ₹4.5 lakh. When the industrialist refused, Sugan and Sarath approached him and the bomb exploded during the altercation.
