Thursday, 18 January 2024 Due to the prevailing cold wave and dense fog in Noida, the administration has adjusted school timings for nursery to class 8 in both government and private schools, starting from January 18. The new timing is set at 10 am and will continue until further notice. A similar measure has been implemented in Ghaziabad, where classes up to 8 will be closed on Thursday. The decision, influenced by extreme weather conditions, applies to schools affiliated with various education boards. Earlier, classes up to 8 were suspended until January 16, and last week, hours for classes 9 to 12 were also revised. During the vacation period, school staff in Ghaziabad are expected to remain present and contribute to various government-related tasks.
