'Fact that flyers had to eat on tarmac ...': Scindia on heavy fine against IndiGo after viral video
Union civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia deemed the incident of air passengers having food on the tarmac as "unacceptable" and "shameful". Swift action was taken, including show-cause notices and penalties, after a video of the incident went viral, Scindia said. The minister added that safety and security are paramount, and fines were imposed on IndiGo, Mumbai airport.
