Shringar Gauri puja resumes in Gyanvapi cellar after 30 years

Vedic chants and the gentle sound of prayer bells echoed through the southern cellar of Gyanvapi Masjid for the initial time in three decades on Thursday morning. This followed Varanasi district judge Ajaya Krishna Vishvesha's decision to permit a family of priests to recommence the worship of Shringar Gauri and other Hindu deities in that section of the contested location.
