On Monday, two-time TDP MP from Guntur, Jayadev Galla, announced in the Lok Sabha his choice to withdraw from politics and abstain from contesting the upcoming General Elections. He cited concerns over the "weaponization" of government agencies and emphasized the challenges of balancing his role as a businessman alongside political responsibilities, stating that navigating both realms simultaneously is not feasible.
