'Chalo Delhi': Karnataka ministers, Congress MLAs protest at Jantar Mantar against Centre
Wednesday, 7 February 2024 Karnataka Congress legislators on Wednesday gathered in New Delhi to protest against what they perceive as "financial injustice" towards the state over the past five years. The demonstration, involving all Congress legislators, MPs, and ministers, precedes the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. They are demanding that the Centre address and rectify the alleged losses amounting to Rs 1.87 lakh crore incurred by Karnataka during the tenure of the 15th Finance Commission.
