VHP moves Calcutta HC, says naming lioness ‘Sita’ hurt religious sentiments

Vishwa Hindu Parishad has filed a case against naming a lioness Sita at Bengal Safari Park. VHP activists protested, claiming that naming a lion after a Hindu goddess hurt religious sentiments. The matter is likely to be heard on February 20 before a single bench of the court.
