In Kolkata, 24-yr-old dies a day after testing positive for Covid

Asish Halder, a 24-year-old from Kolkata, died of tuberculosis meningitis (TBM) and Covid-19 at Beliaghata ID Hospital. He tested positive after being admitted to Calcutta National Medical College. TBM affects the brain and spinal cord. The last reported Covid death in Kolkata was a 90-year-old from Hedua.
