‘70% charter flights encroach on slots of passenger aircraft’

The government is targeting improvements in early-bird flights at Mumbai airport to reduce flight delays. Comparing data from last year, only 13% of flights arrived before schedule, while previously it was 34%. The government has asked airlines to adhere to the allotted slots to improve flight punctuality and enforce slot discipline.
