Wait for citizenship stretches for half of Pak migrants in Rajasthan

The Koli family in Jodhpur's Aanganwa Refugee Settlement (ARS) missed out on citizenship under the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) as they migrated from Pakistan in 2015, after the cut-off date of Dec 31, 2014. Rajasthan hosts over 35,000 registered migrants from Pakistan. Hemji Koli, a certified nurse in Pakistan, cannot practice nursing in India due to his citizenship status.
