In Kerala, 5-year-old girl dies after being run over by temple chariot

A five-year-old girl was killed after being run over by a ceremonial chariot (vandikuthira) that was used for the annual festival at the Kottankulangara Devi temple in Kollam on Sunday night. The deceased is Kshetra, daughter of Rameshan and Jiji, of Thekkumbhagam, Chavara. The temple was hosting the famous Chamayavilakku festival.
