Bhavesh Bhinde, 51, director of Ego Media Pvt Ltd, was arrested by Mulund police two months ago after his girlfriend accused him of rape under the pretext of marriage. He faced multiple cases for violating BMC rules related to billboards, including harming trees blocking his hoardings. A political controversy erupted when a photo of Bhinde with Uddhav Thackeray surfaced on social media, leading to Chhagan Bhujbal's defense of Thackeray, stating that taking photos with politicians doesn't imply anything.
