Woman drops MTP plan after report says fetus fully developed
Monday, 20 May 2024 A 32-year-old woman approached Nagpur bench of Bombay high court to terminate a 22-week pregnancy, but changed her mind after medical report showed fetus was fully developed and may result in live birth. HC ordered her medical examination to assess if MTP could be allowed. The medical report highlighted increased risk of complications associated with aborting a 22-week fetus.
On Friday (Apr 19), the Philippines will receive its first contracted BrahMos missile from India, marking a significant milestone in defence collaboration between the two nations. Accompanied by three civilian freight liners transporting additional parts and support systems, the missile is poised to bolster the defence capabilities of the Philippine Marine Corps' coastal defence regiment.
