Tuesday, 18 June 2024 Residents of Chhota Nirmal Jote village postponed Eid-ul-Zuha celebration to assist Kanchanjungha Express accident victims. A group of 12 young friends, wearing white kurta-pajamas, led rescue efforts and were commended by Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee during a hospital visit.
