Plea before President to sack Owaisi as MP over 'Jai Palestine' remark

A plea has been submitted to President Droupadi seeking the expulsion of Hyderabad MP and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi from Lok Sabha over his "Jai Palestine" remark made while taking the oath as a parliamentarian. The request was made by Advocate Hari Shankar Jain, citing Article 102 of the Constitution, which states that a member of either house is liable to disqualification if they show "allegiance or adherence to a foreign state." The five-time Hyderabad MP had defeated BJP's Madhavi Latha.
