Worst floods in Tripura since 1956 as MEA denies Bangladesh allegation

Tripura is experiencing severe flooding, submerging over 80% of Agartala after heavy rainfall and reverse water flow from Bangladesh. The city received 233 mm of rain, worsening the flood situation as surrounding rivers overflowed. The Ministry of External Affairs rejected allegations that the flooding in Bangladesh was due to the opening of the Dombur dam in Tripura.
