Rights group writes to EC, seeks action against BJP candidate for ‘derogatory’ remark targeting disabled

The National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People has requested the Election Commission to take action against BJP’s Safidon candidate Ram Kumar Gautam. He allegedly used derogatory terms about disabled individuals during his campaign, violating the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act and the EC's Model Code of Conduct, according to NCPEDP.
