Friday, 13 September 2024 Indore and other consistently top-ranked cities such as Surat and Navi Mumbai will be placed in a new 'Golden Cities Club' category, separate from the annual Swachhta ranking. This initiative aims to encourage other cities to improve their cleanliness standards by providing them an opportunity to achieve higher rankings.
