Ram Rahim's former jailer posts win on 1st poll outing

Former jailer Suneel Sangwan, known for overseeing Haryana's high-security Sunaria jail housing Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, won his first election for the Charkhi Dadri assembly seat. Sangwan resigned from his post and joined BJP before running his campaign with a focus on district development.
