Goa police arrested Maria Santana Baptista and Mohammed Sufiyan for a series of burglaries targeting 19 homes over six months, recovering 500g of stolen gold. The duo, mainly focused on stealing gold and cash, avoided mobile phones to prevent tracking, and sold the gold through intermediaries.
